Marketing and events teams in Cairo ask us the same practical questions before they brief a production company. This page answers them in one place.

Who Wampum Events is

  • What we do: corporate event production in Egypt, the technical backbone of conferences, product launches, award ceremonies, exhibitions and brand activations.

  • Where: Cairo, at 34 Ibn El Nafis St. We produce events across Egypt.

  • Who we are part of: a subsidiary of TePee-X, whose group has served more than 1,150 corporate clients.

  • How we work: project by project, with one accountable project manager per event. We do not run retainers.

  • Response time: a first reply within 24 hours of your enquiry.

  • Fabrication: branded scenic, backdrops and signage are built and UV-printed in our own workshop, so quality and lead times stay under our control.

The ten services, and what each includes

Stage design and construction: concept and technical drawings, structural staging and risers, branded scenic with UV-printed graphics, truss and rigging, ramps and access, load-in, install and strike. Every build is specified to the venue's load limits, ceiling height and access.

Event lighting design: lighting plots, stage and key lighting, audience washes, moving heads and effects, gobos and branded projection, with a dedicated operator running cues live. If the event is filmed or streamed, say so early: camera changes the lighting plan.

Audio and sound engineering: PA and line-array systems sized to the room, wireless handheld, lapel and headset microphones, stage monitors, digital mixing, playback, and a dedicated engineer. Clean feeds are provisioned for recording, streaming and simultaneous interpretation.

LED screens and AV: indoor and outdoor LED walls, projection where it fits, content playback and switching, confidence monitors, multi-camera capture with IMAG, and a dedicated AV operator. Content is reformatted and tested on the real pixel pitch before doors.

Exhibition stand design and build: 3D visuals, custom or modular builds, branded walls with UV-printed graphics, flooring, lighting, integrated screens, storage and meeting areas, install and dismantle. Built to the organiser's regulations and the hall's load and height limits, with the documentation the hall requires.

Conference and summit production: stage and set, LED and AV, audio, lighting, presentation management, speaker support, recording and streaming, and live show-calling segment by segment.

Event planning and project management: brief and objectives, budget structuring, venue and supplier selection, run-of-show, floor plans and technical drawings, risk and contingency planning, and post-event reporting. We tell you honestly what is achievable at your budget before anything is booked.

Decor and branding fabrication: backdrops and scenic, entrance and reception branding, wayfinding signage, hanging banners and truss branding, cut vinyl, photo walls, table and floor branding, all produced to your brand guidelines and installed on schedule.

On-site event management: build-up and load-in supervision, supplier and crew coordination, rehearsal management, show-calling, presenter handling, floor support and teardown. All suppliers report to our on-site manager for a single line of accountability.

Corporate event venue sourcing in Cairo: capacity planning, venue longlist and shortlist, technical surveys for power, rigging, ceiling height and access, floor plans, rate negotiation and contracting support. Venue sourcing is scoped as part of the production, not sold as a separate brokerage fee; the venue agreement is signed by you.

What moves the budget and the timeline

  • Lead time. The earlier the brief lands, the more of the budget goes into the room instead of rush charges. Peak season in Cairo books out early, and date flexibility is the cheapest lever you have.

  • Venue access windows. Tight build-up and teardown windows are the single biggest driver of on-site cost and risk.

  • Content deadlines. Late slides and video are where conferences slip. Send content early so it is tested on the actual screens.

  • Filming and streaming. Recording changes the lighting, audio and screen plan. Flag it in the brief.

  • Brand artwork. For scenic and signage, production time, not design time, sets the deadline. Send guidelines and artwork with the brief.
